A U.S. investigative team arrived in Seoul Sunday to continue probes into the cause of the Asiana Airlines plane crash at San Francisco International Airport earlier this month.

The team, which includes U.S. government officials and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) personnel, will carry out a 10-day investigation at the Asiana's headquarters.

Chief NTSB investigator Bill English said his team's visit was 'to continue the fact gathering stage' of the inquiry.

South Korea's transport ministry said Seoul officials will also take part in the probes.

Three Chinese high school students were killed and more than 180 others injured in the July 6 crash.
