[K-ISSUE] Song Hye-Kyo, Park Bo-Gum to star in TV

The veteran 36-year-old actress Song Hye-Kyo and 25-year-old heartthrob actor Park Bo-Gum have been confirmed to appear as the leads of the television series "Boyfriend". The drama, in the midst of pre-production, is expected to premiere in the second half of this year.

The upcoming series depicts a heart-wrenching romance between a woman, who seems like she has everything but has never been able to truly lead a life of her own, and an ordinary and innocent man who finds joy in simple things.

Park is known to be acquainted with Song whose husband Song Joong-Ki is his label mate.
