President Park Geun-Hye will hold separate talks with U.S. President Barack Obama, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during an international nuclear summit in Washington slated for later this week.

The presidential Cheong Wa Dae said Park plans to hold separate meetings with Obama and Abe on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit to exchange views on coordinating how to deal with North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Park is also scheduled to meet with Xi later on.

The Cheong Wa Dae added that the three leaders are also set to hold a trilateral summit to discuss North Korea sanctions and other regional issues during the nuclear summit set for Thursday and Friday.

All three allies have imposed and are implementing their own unilateral sanctions on Pyongyang over the communist regimes latest nuclear test and a series of missile launches.

The summit talks are to be held amid growing tensions on the divided Korean Peninsula, with the North continuing nuclear threats and war rhetoric against the ongoing joint military drills between South Korea and the United States.
