The association representing South Korea's 7 million owners of small businesses has vowed to boycott products and services provided by Lotte Group embroiled in a family feud over the control of the conglomerate.
The Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise issued a statement on Wednesday and pledged to deploy a nationwide campaign to boycott Lotte brands.
The federation accused the family of founder Shin Kyuk-Ho of taking the group into its own hands only with a tiny portion of equity stakes and of leaving the country's retail market in ruin.
Meanwhile, the country's fair trade watchdog said it will inspect the Shin family's shareholding structure.
