South Korean President Park Geun-Hye will make an official visit to the United States next month on the invitation of U.S. President Barack Obama.
During her trip from June 14 to 18, Park will hold summit talks with Obama in Washington on the 16th. The two leaders are expected to reaffirm the importance of their alliance responding to a changing security situation on the Korean Peninsula in the face of recent threats from North Korea.
After the summit, Park will move on to Houston to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two nations in the fundamental science sector including aerospace.
It will be Park's third visit to the U.S. since taking office in 2013.
