Search work for the missing of the Sewol ferry accident resumed yesterday (Sunday), after a strong typhoon passed by the Korean Peninsula. However, no further retrieval of bodies has been reported.

More than 100 Navy, Coast Guard and fishing boats have joined the operations at the deadly accident site off the country's southwestern coast. Rescue forces have been searching for any bodies that might have been swept away from the sunken ship.

Eleven people are still missing since the April 16 sinking of the Sewol ferry. Two-hundred ninety-three others have been confirmed dead, most of them high school students. The latest recovery of a body was three weeks ago.

The government's disaster relief center said fast currents at the accident site are making it difficult for divers to search inside the shipwreck.
