League of Legends (LoL)' Esports, announced today (10th) that the "2024 LCK Awards" will be held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Art Hall 1 located in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul on the 29th.
The LCK Awards will announce the player of the year for each position, including "Player of the Year," "Top Player of the Year," "Jungle Player of the Year," "Mid Player of the Year," "Bottom Player of the Year," and "Supporter of the Year."
This year's LCK Awards are expected to be a three-way race between Gen.G, Hanwha Life e-Sports, and T1. Gen.G won the LCK spring, setting a record of the first four consecutive wins in LCK history, and Gen.G also topped the mid-season invitational, making LCK the first MSI winner in seven years. In LCK Summer, Hanwha Life e-Sports lifted the LCK trophy for the first time since its acquisition in 2018. In the World Championship, which ended in early November, T1 beat all of the domestic teams to win its fifth career championship, so three teams, Gen.G, Hanwha Life e-Sports, and T1, are expected to compete.
The LCK Award, which marks its fourth year this year, will be held at DDP Art Hall 1 on the 29th, during the Seoul Con. The "2024 Seoul Con," which will be held by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA), will be held in the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) area from 28th (Sat) to 1st (Wednesday), 2025 and is a global influencer fair composed of contents led by a large number of influencers from each field.
LCK plans to have about 1,000 seats at the 2024 LCK Awards, more than at previous events, with the largest number of fans ever. Awards tickets can be obtained through first-come, first-served distribution through the Woori Bank app and through LCK official social events. Details of the tickets will be informed later on the LCK social channel.
