"SFPC" is an event hosted by the Korea Information Teachers Association and the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education, which was started to provide an opportunity for general high school students to challenge problem solving with only programming-related knowledge learned in class.
The Korea Information Teachers Association has selected a new venue every year to close the gap in information education by city and province, and plans and operates events jointly with teachers in the host region to take the lead in sharing teacher competencies between regions.
The Nexon Foundation is making efforts to expand the base of coding education by holding the "Nexon Youth Programming Challenge (NYPC)" and developing a free coding learning platform "BIKO," and has been steadily sponsoring "SFPC" since 2022 to raise youth's interest in coding and improve their capabilities.
This year's "SFPC" competition, which was held from the 6th to the 17th, also held a "study challenge" event in connection with "BIKO." Nexon supported the information teacher, who teamed up with the participating students, to learn the previous questions of the competition on the 'BIKO's 'Together' channel.
