Phantom was founded in 2019 by CEO Kim Sang-hun, who gained fame through the development of Abyssium, and director Kim Dong-joon, who oversaw "Middle-aged Technician Kim Bong-sik" at Marf Games. Phantom's representative works include "Penguin's Island," which recorded 30 million global downloads, and "Souls," which surpassed 100 billion won in cumulative global sales.
In particular, both "Penguin's Island" and "Souls" were released in major markets such as North America and Europe through a publishing contract with Habby, a world-renowned game publisher well known as "The Legend of the Archer," and currently collects 85% of Phantom's total sales from overseas.
A Neptune official said, "We will continue to discover game developers that have success equations, proceed with acquisitions and investments, and secure and strengthen growth engines."
