Krafton to establish next-generation talent training program 'Krafton Jungle Game Tech Lab'

Krafton will open a new "Krafton Jungle Game Tech Lab" (hereinafter referred to as Game Tech Lab) and expand its talent training program.

Game Tech Lab is a CSR program designed by Krafton to cultivate next-generation game programmers who will lead the global game industry. Throughout the curriculum, the philosophy of "Krafton Jungle," Krafton's software talent training program, immersion, self-directed learning, and team-based collaboration were included.

Game Tech Lab aims to cultivate game programmers who can grow on their own. Successful applicants will stay in training for 24 weeks, developing the ability to understand and utilize from game engine and graphics theory to the latest technologies. It also receives production experience and know-how from field game developers, including Krafton, and produces "My Own Game Engine." Through this, participants will release applications with new features that are not in the existing game engine on the content marketplace Fab.

The recruitment period is from December 9 to January 13, and up to 32 people are selected. Anyone who is passionate about game development as well as related majors can apply. The screening process will be conducted in the order of document acceptance, entrance examination, and interview, and pre-learning materials for preparation for the entrance exam will also be provided separately. The final successful applicants will stay at the Krafton Jungle Campus, which will be newly built in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, for about 24 weeks from March to August.

Krafton operates a variety of digital talent training programs. Along with the newly opened Krafton Jungle Game Tech Lab, there are three programs: Krafton Jungle and Krafton Jungle Game Lab (hereinafter referred to as Game Lab). Krafton Jungle selects and fosters applicants who wish to make a career transition as software developers. Game Lab supports prospective game developers to grow into high-quality game developers by experiencing the entire process of production, including game release.

Game Lab will select up to 32 people from Dec. 9 to Jan. 13, the same as Game Tech Lab. A total of six games will be released by the end of this year on the global game distribution platform Steam by the end of this year.
