South Jeolla Province requests government to sternly respond to fake news on the plane disaster

South Jeolla Province said it has asked the government to strictly respond to fake news related to the Jeju Air plane disaster.

Recently, fake news about disparaging bereaved families has been circulated on social network services, SNS and shorts, that is, short videos, etc., causing problems.

South Jeolla Province has asked the government to take strong measures, believing that indiscriminate fake news could cause secondary damage to bereaved families.

Jeollanam-do also recommended the expansion of specialists for psychological counseling while listening to the inconveniences of bereaved families through a one-on-one official dedicated to bereaved families.
