Jeju has two connections to attract and use electricity from other regions due to lack of power.

Compared to existing connections, the third connection line is a "voltage type" ultra-high voltage direct current transmission system that can be flexibly controlled, and it also has the ability to restore some of the power system in the event of a wide-area power outage.

IGBT power-type semiconductors can be applied to quickly and accurately control power flow in both directions.

Now, it is expected that the remaining electricity from the spread of renewable energy can be sent to other regions, helping to resolve the control of renewable energy output.
