Declaration of the State of University Students in Gyeonggi-do Province... "The President Should Resign From Constitution Damaged"

A series of declarations of the situation of college students in Gyeonggi Province are calling for the resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol, who declared emergency martial law.

About 10 students from Gyeonggi University read the declaration of the situation written by 374 students at Suwon Campus at around 1 p.m. today (6th).

They argued, "President Yoon, who tried to hinder the free activities of the National Assembly and suppress the rights of the people through military intervention, deserves to be punished for rebellion and should step down immediately."

Earlier yesterday (5th), Ajou University Medical School students also issued a statement saying, "It is very questionable whether President Yoon, who defines us as anti-state forces and punishes us by specifying our positions in the decree, is a person who thinks of the people."

113 students from Yongin University of Arts and Sciences also issued a declaration of state of affairs, saying, "President Yoon, who distorts history and covers the eyes of the people, is no longer eligible for president."
