[Seoul] Yongsan-gu Submits "Innovation in the City" for Railway Upper Development Plan

Yongsan-gu, Seoul, delivered a plan to underground the Gyeongbu Line and Gyeongwon Line to the Seoul Metropolitan Government ahead of the government's selection of a leading project for the integrated development of railroad gehwa.

Yongsan-gu announced that it will innovatively recreate the urban space, saying that it has prepared a plan to underground the Gyeongbu Line and Gyeongwon Line and a basic plan for the development of the upper site after a preliminary feasibility study service from July.

The section is 4.5km from Gyeongbu Line to Seoul Station to Hangang Railway Bridge and 6km from Yongsan Station to Hannam Station on Gyeongwon Line.

Yongsan-gu plans to foster the area around the Gyeongbu Line as an industrial business belt linked to the Yongsan International Business District, and the Gyeongwon Line section as a rest and leisure belt linked to waterfront and green space.
