People's Power Rep. Ahn Cheol Soo stressed that the party must accept the court ruling that decided to arrest President Yoon Suk Yeol and protect the values of conservatism by firmly isolating from some of the rioting extremists.

Lawmaker Ahn held a press conference and said, "The people's power should be reborn as a party that encompasses the middle and we should focus on reform and innovation within the party."

He also pointed out that the recent rise in the party's approval rating is the result of people who say Lee Jae-myung should not become president, and that he is worried that it could lead to an optical illusion and receive the wrong signal of "Let's go strong like this."

Taking aim at representative Lee's judicial risks, Ahn urged him to keep the trial period of the "June 3·3 Principles", that is, the sentence within 6 months of the first trial, 3 months of the second trial, and 3 months of the third trial.
