The Constitutional Court said it has not recommended the National Assembly withdrawal from the "controversy over the exclusion of the crime of rebellion" in the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

He also explained that it is a matter for the court to determine whether the crime of rebellion can be removed from the grounds for impeachment.

The Constitutional Court has denied allegations by the National Assembly's representatives that the court encouraged the court to exclude the crime of rebellion in the preparation of arguments in the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
