Yoon said in his response that there is no need for a Constitutional Court trial, as everything has recovered and there is no benefit to protect before the declaration of emergency martial law.

He also stressed that the president's ruling cannot be subject to judicial review and cited the U.S. Supreme Court's Trump ruling that "public acts while in office should be exempted from prosecution."
