North Korean leader Kim Jong-un seems to have not visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun for the second year in almost every year since he took power.

The Korean Central News Agency reported yesterday (2nd) that members of the ruling party, including members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, where the bodies of North Korean leader Kim Il-sung and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il are located.

The news agency said all participants pledged their will to lead the prosperity period boldly by supporting Kim Jong-un's revolutionary ideas and leadership, but did not mention Kim's attendance.

Since taking power in 2012, Chairman Kim has visited Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the first day of each year except for 2018 and last year.
