Choi, a Seoul native, graduated from Seoul National University School of Law in 1963 and entered public service 29 times.

The term "genius bureaucracy" has always been followed by major positions in finance and macro policy.

However, this is the third time the president has been impeached because his public life is not smooth.

During the impeachment of former President Roh Moo Hyun in 2004, he was the director of the securities system, and during the impeachment of former President Park Geun Hye in 2016, he was the first vice minister.

Before becoming a vice minister, Ahn Jong-beom, a former senior presidential secretary for economic affairs, seemed to be interrupted by his career as an economic and financial secretary.

I avoided prosecution, but the regime changed and I had to live a wild life.

However, after returning to the government post by joining the Yoon Suk Yeol Presidential Transition Committee in 2022, he returned to the post of senior presidential secretary for economic affairs in December last year, six years after leaving his former home, the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
