With the official appointment of the new Chinese ambassador to Korea, Diving emphasized that Korea-China relations are inseparable and said he hopes Korea will overcome its difficulties.

In a written speech, Ambassador Dai, who officially took office today, stressed that the two countries are close and inseparable neighbors.

In addition, he said that cooperation between the two countries has a high degree of reciprocity and strategy, adding that strengthening friendly cooperation between the two countries is in the fundamental interest of both countries.

Regarding the recent domestic situation, Ambassador Dai also said, "I sincerely hope that Korea will overcome difficulties and continue to maintain stability, development and prosperity."

Ambassador Dai served as Africa's president of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as China's deputy representative to the United Nations since 2020 before being appointed as the new ambassador to South Korea following former Ambassador Xing Haiming.
