The South Korean military intelligence command first admitted to mobilizing "HID agents," known as the North Korean task force, in this emergency martial law situation.

In an urgent question to the National Assembly's National Defense Committee, Moon Sang-ho, commander of the Defense Intelligence Command, answered "yes" when Kim Byung-joo, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea, asked if an HID agent in Sokcho was on standby near Pangyo without a mission.
