In connection with the so-called "defamation of President Yoon Suk Yeol," the prosecution accepted the court's criticism on whether to specify false facts and applied for a change in the indictment again.

The Seoul Central District Court said today (10th) that the prosecution applied for the second time to change the indictment in the trial of Kim Man-bae, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu Co., and Shin Hak-rim, a former chairman of the press union.

Accepting the court's criticism that it was not able to specify which part of the indictment was false, the prosecution said it deleted facts that were not related to the crime and numbered the false facts in question.

In response, the court expressed doubts about some ambiguous expressions in the indictment, saying that it seems right that the amount has decreased significantly and has become neat, and the prosecution expressed its opinion to review it.

The court previously pointed out that the indictment contains too many indirect circumstances that are not related to defamation of President Yoon, the core of the case, during the preparation for the trial.

In response, the prosecution accepted the court's criticism in September and changed the indictment once, such as deleting the "Lee Jae-myung Communist Party Frame."

Kim and others were arrested and indicted in July on charges of defaming President Yoon by reporting false information related to the Busan Savings Bank investigation and disguising it as a book price by exchanging 165 million won in return.
