Mariah Carey's 1994 carol "All I Want For Christmas Is You" also topped the U.S. Billboard chart at the end of this year.

Billboard said on the 9th local time that Mariah Carey's carol topped the "Hot 100" and topped the list for 15 weeks.

Released in November 1994, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" has been released for 30 years this year, but it is gaining popularity every Christmas season at the end of the year.

In particular, due to the growth of the streaming industry, "reverse driving" has been prominent at the end of the year from late 2010.

"When I wrote this song, I had no idea about the impact it would have on the world," Carey said of her entry into the Hot 100 at the time in 2021, "and I'm very grateful that so many people enjoy this song with me every year."

For the Christmas season, in addition to "All I Want for Christmas Is You," Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," Wham's "Last Christmas," and Bul Ives' "A Holly Jolly Christmas" entered the top 10 of the Hot 100 chart.
