Cesinha, a 35-year-old Brazilian striker called the "King of Daegu," has been accompanied by Daegu FC for 10 years.

The Daegu club announced that they will be with Cesinha next season and give great trust to their experience, leadership and outstanding performance.

Cesinha, who joined Daegu in 2016, played 32 games in the K-League this year and scored the most offensive points in Daegu with 14 goals and eight assists, especially in the two promotion playoff games against Asan, Chungnam, he scored three goals alone to take the lead in Daegu's remaining in the top division.

Cesinha has been offered better terms by other clubs, but he said he wants to retire beautifully from Daegu and is happy to renew his contract.

Edgar, who has played in Daegu since 2018, has also renewed his contract.

Edgar, 37, boasts superb chemistry with Cesinha and has scored six goals and one assist this year.
