Prosecutors form a special version of "Emergency martial law"...a joint investigation with the military prosecution

The prosecution, which formed a special investigation headquarters to investigate the emergency martial law incident, has decided to jointly investigate with the military prosecution.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office announced today (the 6th) that it will form an emergency martial law special investigation headquarters headed by Seoul High Prosecutor Park Se-hyun and jointly investigate with the military prosecution by dispatching military prosecutors.

Kim Jong-woo, the second deputy prosecutor of the Southern District Prosecutors' Office, oversees the investigation, while Lee Chan-kyu, the first director of the public investigation department at the Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Choi Soon-ho, the third director of the Central District Prosecutors' Office, assist Kim.

Previously, the prosecution decided to directly investigate cases accused of rebellion related to emergency martial law, and banned former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun from leaving the country.

It is the first time in eight years that the prosecution has set up a special copy to investigate a specific case since the "state affairs manipulation scandal."
