Daejeon apartment construction site buried accident...A worker in his 20s dies.

A worker from a subcontractor in his 20s was buried in soil at the construction site of a new apartment building in Doma-dong, Daejeon, at around 11 a.m. yesterday (14th).After 119 rescuers who were dispatched after receiving a report of

removed the soil for about two hours, A was found in cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead.

The police suspect that A was killed while playing the role of a signal by radio in the underground space, and are trying to figure out the exact circumstances of the accident.

The Daejeon Labor Office has ordered the suspension of the refilling work in which the accident occurred, and is investigating subcontractors for violations of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
