Iron Throne in Game of Thrones, bid for 2 billion won at U.S. auction

The Iron Throne, which was used as a prop in the American drama "Game of Thrones," was sold at a U.S. auction for 1.5 million dollars and 2 billion won in our money.

CNN reported that the Iron Throne, which appeared at the Heritage Auction in the United States, was sold to a drama fan after a bidding competition.

The auction sold more than 900 props, including swords and several costumes used by the Jon Snow character in the drama, for $21 million and 28.3 billion won.

'Game of Thrones' is a drama that aired on HBO from 2011 to 2019 and has gained huge popularity in Korea and formed a fandom.
