"Orchid naming ceremony" in Singapore...a friendly luncheon with the Prime Minister and his wife.

During a state visit to Singapore, President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Gun-hee held an orchid naming ceremony with Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his wife for a friendly luncheon.

The Orchid Naming Ceremony is an event in which the Singaporean government names VIPs or distinguished couples to newly cultivated orchid species with hospitality and respect.

Earlier in the day, President Yoon also met with Singaporean President Tarman Shanmugaratnam.

President Tarman said it would be nice if the two governments worked together with the aim of upgrading to a strategic partnership, and President Yoon responded that the two countries could create synergy.
