At least five people have been killed and several others reported missing after heavy rainfall swamped South Korea's southeastern areas on Monday.
A teenage girl was found dead after a city bus was washed away by the turgid waters of a small river in the southeastern city of Changwon.
The bus driver and several passengers are still missing as of midday today (Tuesday).
In separate accidents, two people were killed after their car was flooded by the torrential rain in Busan City and two additional citizens lost their lives in the floods, as well.
Meanwhile, in other areas of Busan City, subway services were suspended due to the deluge and a building for senior citizens was destroyed in a landslide. But no casualties were reported.
