South Korea's national female handball team has qualified to advance to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics.
The Korean women handballers, led by head coach Lim Young-Chul, routed their Japanese counterparts 35 to 21 in a qualifier for the Brazil Olympic Games staged in the Japanese city of Nagoya on Sunday.
The victory allows the South Korean female handball squad to obtain the only ticket for the Asian states to the Olympiad for the ninth consecutive time.
