어미와 이별했던 새끼 원숭이의 감동 재회

남아프리카의 원숭이 보호 시설에서 목격된 감동적인 모정이 화제가 되고 있다.

남아프리카 공화국에 있는 움시지 버벳 구조 센터에서 일하는 나이겔 라이트는 지난 10월 6일, 보호소에서 촬영한 영상을 공개했다.

영상에서 한 남성이 케이지 안에 들어있던 새끼 원숭이를 풀어주자 원숭이는 근처에 있는 건물 지붕으로 기어 올라간다. 지붕에는 여러 마리의 원숭이들이 이 장면을 지켜보고 있었다.

Release day today for Pearce.

This little man has been in the loving care of Tracy for the last 3 weeks after his leg was degloved at the knee.
Tracy spent 2 days trapping the little fella before rushing him to the vet to have his leg stitched up and then 3 weeks cage rest to allow his injuries to heal.
The release video shows the amazing and loving bond between the mother and the rest of the troop.
Pay attention to the mother's reaction to the Alpha male at around 50 seconds.... Just a gentle touch of reassurance or maybe saying " Our boy is back home", either way it was amazing to watch... and probably the best release I have ever seen..
Thank you Tracy for allowing me to help in the trapping of this amazing little fella, and to be there at the release to witness and enjoy seeing him go back to his family..

나이겔 라이트는 새끼 원숭이가 상처를 입어서 3주 동안 원숭이 무리에서 떨어져 지내다가 다시 가족의 품으로 돌아온 장면을 포착한 영상이라고 설명했다.

지붕으로 올라온 새끼 원숭이를 얼른 잡아서 안아주는 원숭이 무리의 사진은 감동을 불러일으킨다. 3주간 못 본 아기를 꼭 안아주고 주변 무리도 다가와서 관심을 가진다.

사람과 다른 바 없는 원숭이의 이런 행동에 많은 사람이 감동적이라는 반응을 보였다.
